The location just a short walk to the waters edge

My knees didn’t like the stairs - but they don’t like any stairs at the moment !

Everything was perfect.

Maybe a newer TV, with Netflix on.

Good location. The unit was clean and roomy. Good shower.

Note: The property has no wifi available. ( Did state it in description )There was no deck furniture to use on our small terrace( upstairs unit) Had to bring chairs up from the garden. Found the single beds very hard and pillows too high. Lacked extras like milk, perc coffee (only instant),paper towels, limited kitchen supplies, soap for shower. Coffee cups were stained and needed cleaning before use. We paid $260 for 1x night. I felt this was overpriced and not good value.

It was clean, comfortable and conveniently located close to shops and restaurants.

The weather! But that was the luck of the draw.

Limited kitchen facilities but fine for one night

Despite being in the centre of Akaroa, the apartment was wonderfully quiet. There was plenty of space for the two of us. We will certainly consider returning.

It was unclear how to find the apartment when we arrived, so I had to call the owner. Better signage would have helped. The address used the name of the apartment block, but that name was not visible to me.
