Delight Accommodation

Very close to Massey uni.

The office doesn't appear to be staffed despite there being multiple neon signs stating it is 'open'. Very minimal communication. Because no one was ever in the onsite office, I messaged via booking.com and text to try and get a swipe card so that we could park our car and get access to the laundry. I did not receive a reply despite multiple messages. We specifically booked this accommodation for the laundry facilities as we were attending a wedding after a period of travelling elsewhere. We had to make last minute alternative arrangements due to their lack of communication costing us money and time we didn't have. The apartment itself was not clean, and the bed sheets had hairs and dead moths in them. I ended up sleeping in my own sleeping bag because I was unsure if the linen had been cleaned since the last guests. The bathroom had many pubic hairs stuck to the hand basin and shower, and the toilet and sinks had not been cleaned. The apartment has a musty odour, and everything was sad and dated. Saturday night there was a loud party across from us that went until 3am. I get that it is uni accommodation but maybe the owner needs to rethink offering this room to the general public.

Great location for Massey students, walking distance to the campus. Safe environment, basic but has everything you need. Comfortable bed.

Just what I wanted because it's near the Massey University. I was looking for place near the Massey Uni. I liked how it had a kitchen, and the laundry is free of charge.

Location right next to the university.

They need to air the place out. After opening all the windows it was much more enjoyable, compared to the stuffy, smelly (cleaning products), place that I was shown in to. The shower was nice, in that it is from before the days of water saving heads! :)

Self contained rooms and good access to bathroom and kitchen facilities.

Room was too stuffy. Would recommend a fan or air conditioning for the hot weather.

The bed was the most uncomfortable we have EVER slept in. The bed springs were able to be felt no matter where we tried to sleep. We ended up leaving a night early because the bed was unsleepabl;e.

Dirty, Bathroom and carpets were disgusting.
