Allmenningen Apartments

Location was perfect for exploring Bergen waterfront. Easy walk from the train station. Variety of restaurants close by. Best Indian food just by the front door. Furnicular station 100m or so to a spectacular view. Washing machine and tumble dryer were really helpful.

Cramped bedrooms and living area. Having to make the beds on arrival and strip them down afterwards. Having to dispose of rubbish to a dumpster which was quite a way away and not convenient when trundling suitcases. Greeted with a list of rules.

Posizione perfetta, comoda per girare tutta la città. Ottimi gli spazi interni e gli utensili della cucina. Molto utili la lavatrice e l’asciugatrice.

Come in molte altre strutture, avrei apprezzato la presenza dei dispenser per la doccia. Riguardo ai letti, avrei preferito non doverli preparare all’arrivo e disfare alla partenza, anche se immagino sia una tipica consuetudine norvegese.

Having to make the beds ourselves was disappointing. The sheets, pillowcases, and duvet covers were just left on the beds, and we had to prepare everything ourselves. For an apartment that charges these rates and benefits from such a central location, failing to provide even this basic service was quite surprising. It felt like an unnecessary inconvenience and is one of the reasons I would not choose to stay here again.

A very comfortable and spacious apartment in an excellent location less than 5 minutes to the harbour.

The apartment is fully updated with modern furnishings. The kitchen, with a full-size fridge, oven, stove, and dishwasher, was great. Having a washer and dryer was also nice.

When we checked in at 3, the apartment had not been cleaned from the previous renter (food in the sink, towels and sheets on the floor, etc). We contacted the host, but 20 minutes later, before we got a response from the host, cleaners walked in.

Clean, great location and plenty of space for family of 5 adults

Surrounding area was very loud at night. Not the fault of the property owner though
