Yasmina was an amazing host, friendly knowledgeable and super efficient. She made the place feel like home.

- Wifi NEVER works. Absolutely never. It's false advertising. They do NOT have wifi. - Pool was closed. - cold shower - bunk beds without curtains They have a monopoly position on the market in Windhoek. Competition is badly needed to improve the quality. Value for money is very bad. 14$ for a bunk bed is really expensive. The beds don't have curtains. The wifi never works. It's there, but it's completely useless. The owner does not care at all. But they love money. They are absolute penny pinchers. But only if it benefits them. Imo they are very bad people. When I was sick, I was offered an aspirin and later I was charged for it! I find that shocking. Where has humanity gone? How greedy can one be? And they didn't even tell me. Of course I assumed it would be free. But Namibia is really obsessed with money. It's very unpleasant. The staff treated me generally very rudely, esp yamely, she was so disrespectful to me and made me feel very unwelcome. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to stay there once I was sick. And also they are the cheapest accommodation here. There are private rooms for the same price in the area but they are not bookable online and often occupied. Worth trying tho. I would never return there voluntarily. I felt very badly treated. Some other guests were so kind tho. They shared their food and medicines freely with me. Like normal decent people. Yamely the manager is a very condescending, dismissive, offhand, toxic person. I dare not approach her for anything because she always scoffs and gives snappy answers or just ignores me outright. One time I was very hungry and I asked if she could make just a little extra spaghetti as she was already cooking some and she refused. They do not know hospitality or common kindness. Just bad people. A good hostel is badly needed in Windhoek. One that is deserving of the amazing travelers that come thru here.

The place is very cozy and safe. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The outdoor space is very nice with the pool.

Some of the prices on things like airport transfer were excessive.

The staff are nice. Kitchen is wonderful. Cooking friendly definitely.

The owner of the guesthouse is rude. I just ask some questions. It seems talking nicely to a guest will make her die. Talking to her making me feel very bad. Just Because of her. I don't have good impression to this guesthouse at all.
