NZThere was a message sent when the room was ready and the place was actually good as what we expected. The kids loved the pool right away. Really clean room however a little outdated but manageable. We love our stay, just the kitchen white wares needs an update.
Bugs at night and kitchen needs to be renovated or at least replace the microwave and stroves.
USLocation was just ok but otherwise nothing good
The room had bad smell, there was not a single hook to hang clothing, nothing to hold shampoo in shower, beds were so low it was hard to get up, Communication was below normal
NZGreat location and really clean
Kitchen and microwave was too old.

NZI enjoyed the swimming pool and the room and bed was comfortable for my liking and enjoyed my stay at Pinelodge.
The motel is a bit on the old side of things but overall it was comfortable and I don't really have anything bad to say about it.

AUThe intention of booking here was for my niece who has disabilities and the pool would be a lovely downtime treat for her. The place is amazing for its location. We were really surprised with amount of shrubs all over the place while driving up the driveway. The pool was used by my nieces and nephews. We planned to use the bbq’s, but we were there for a family reunion in Moerewa and time for that programme didn’t allow us to use it!!! The facilities are set up for families but looking at everything I would say it’s more suited for out of towners-construction/road workers or seasonal workers. For my family and I we enjoyed the rooms. We did have some creepy Crawley visitors but when you are surrounded by beautiful nature that is easily forgivable.
A lot of water damage in the bathroom. A strong damp smell - a dehumidifier would help on that situation. One of my nieces has a severe disabilities. We double checked the handles for her use. It came of and we noticed the handle was not a strong fixture as it was held by blue tack. The handle came of the wall and the step up to the shower was a concern but definitely able to overcome that with supporting her. These are minor issues in my opinion as her family we are her first and last back up of support.
