Everything was perfect! We really appreciated how thoughtfully furnished and equipped the apartment is - from cooking oil, salt and pepper, to clothes washing detergent and everything in between. The apartment seems bigger than the photos suggest, and the view is wonderful. The host very kindly allowed us to check in early following our overnight flight. It's peaceful and quiet and makes a great base for the Cape Town area. There is a rail link to Cape Town close by if required, and Boulders Beach and the Cape of Good Hope are a short distance away. There are restaurants and take-aways in Simon's Town and a good shopping mall approx. 1.5 km towards Fish Hoek. We really enjoyed our 6-day visit. Thank you!

We loved everything. Visitors with a car may find it useful to know that parking is inside an individual garage within a gated area. This is absolutely fine for a small- to- medium sized vehicle, but larger or low-based cars might struggle. There was plenty of room for our Suzuki Swift hire car.

Lack of crockery

The ocean view was spectacular! Terry, the property manager, was very helpful and collecting the key was easy. The apartment is very well equipped with kitchen items for preparing our meals, nice towels, even coffee and sugar for us to use. There is free secure parking which is great and we felt very safe here. Loved looking over the water as night fell and in the morning. Very good value for the money. Thank you!

A fan in the bedroom would have been nice as the temperature had turned quite warm but that's all. Everything else was great
