Fantastic spot with fantastic views and very quiet

TV not great and WiFi ended abruptly as used mobile to get a good TV signal

I really liked the stunning views overlooking the town and harbour.

Nothing at all.

The reception was warm and friendly and very helpful. Accomodation was excellent and the view much more than we expected. It was quiet traquil and we could recharge comfortably like a home away from home. Defnitely worth every cent. I would recommend it for any couple who needs some allone time.

Nestled amidst a vibrant block of flats, this cosy haven is a dream come true for the lock-up-and-go traveller. The apartment, a private sanctuary all to myself, offered a tranquil escape from the world. Sunlight streamed through the windows, framing breathtaking ocean vistas, and the gentle sea breeze whispered through the open panes, inviting a sense of serenity. Stepping out, I felt a world away from the everyday, immersed in the timeless beauty of the coast. This charming abode, with its easy access and captivating views, is a perfect retreat for those seeking solace and adventure.

The unit is on the top floor of the block of flats so there is a bit of a walk. This was not a problem for me as I was on a fitness programme.

The owner met us at the property. She was friendly and even gave us suggestions off restaurants that had specials. The penthouse was lovely with an old-fashioned charm, that you would expect of the beautiful Simon's Town. It was exceptionally clean. The three stories were an easy to climb. It was peaceful and quiet. We spotted a huge porcupine having a midnight stroll. I can not explain the magnificents of the view over the bay. You have to experience it yourself. Watching all the watersport and dogwalkers. The Navyships with their lights on was a spectacular display. I can highly recommend this property and we will definitely return to experience it again.
