City Park Hotel Jongno

Over perfumed motel. The lift lobby is very dark. Size and cleanliness of the room are ok. They provide overnight luggage storage service. Very near to airport bus (6011) station.

While the bed was hard, the room wasn't very big and the staff didn't speak many words of English, the location and amazing price make it a no-brainer to recommend.

Don’t let the front of the hotel worry you - the room is nice and comfortable. The blanket is big and comfortable and you get nice big pillows. There’s a computer and big tv in the room. I couldn’t get the tv to work but other than that the room was great. The hotel is really really close to the airport limo bus and metro. They will help you keep your luggage.

I liked the fact that it actually had a bathtub. Cheap rooms in Seoul don't often have that, most rooms only have a shower that isn't even separated. The bed was comfy and heated, you can change the temperature of the bed. The AC is weak. The view was not nice. It was far from the closest subway station in my opinion. I walked maybe 10-15 minutes to get to Jongno Sam 3 ga station, but it is nice that it has 3 lines at that station. The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors if they are talking or showering. The area was a bit sketchy and run down so there were a lot of police sirens that I could hear. Very nice staff!! The younger man is very nice and speaks very good english. They let you take 1 cup ramen for free each day. I liked how they had many drinks they restocked everyday, lots of shampoo/body wash/conditioner so you never ran out. Bathroom was very clean, not old. Room itself was a bit old. I loved that they had a computer in the rooms so you can still do work, check itinerary, emails, back up your pictures while on vacation. As long as you are willing to walk a bit more to the stations, worth it for the price you pay! Very low cost!

hard to find from metro staff have no english but done there best thru google on there phone thru translation room was clean tho and cleaned reg no shower curtain in bathroom just to bear in mind

Solo traveler review: 1. Location is why I originally chose this hotel. It’s easily accessible by Anguk station, several bus lines, and the Incheon Airport Express bus, 6011 which costs ₩10,000. It is also basically across the street from the palace grounds. 2. Several convenience stores are open nearby 24hrs so food and drinks are easily accessible. The hotel also offers you free bottled water and a free ramen meal per day. You are also given other free drinks with daily room cleaning, which is all complimentary. 3. Room is spacious, well cared for. Do not be alarmed if you notice marks on the walls: they are from people killing mosquitoes. I made the mistake of opening my window completely overnight during the rain and was bombarded by the mosquitos, but this is NOT the hotels fault. The A/C works very well, I just thought I’d try the fresh air option first. Room has nice heated floors, hot water, excellent amenities including facial moisturizer, shampoo, etc. 4. Room cleaning is daily and excellent, they even cleaned my room at 4pm when I didn’t leave until then. Most staff does not speak English, but they use apps to communicate. The younger front desk employee was very helpful. 5. Building is secure. Your belongings are safe. 6. Room is large enough that two people could share this space and not feel cramped. 7. Elevator was speedy and you use a keycard to enter your room. 8. Microwave is available in lobby or hot water maker in room works well.

This is my second review of this hotel. I enjoyed my stay so much that I extended it by 3 additional nights. Please refer to my other review for details. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Seoul.
