Location and luxury bath this is the second time I've stayed here it does what it says on the tin

The cottage is in the town center so ideally located. It was super clean, stylish and well-maintained / recently decorated. The living areas and kitchen were awesome but the best thing about the place was the wetroom. It was just amazing...we both loved it and will be back!

Night location easy walk into town. Cosy feel about the place. You have permit for parking but not too close, but there is a pay car park next to the row of houses. Love the bath.

There is a smell of sewage in the house (mostly upstairs). This is due to the toilet and the outlet pipe being fitted wrong. There used to be no angle on the outlet pipe, so I think sewage is sitting in the pipe. Easy fix would be to raise the toilet 4 or 5 inches on a step. Need to add a shower curtain around the shower area as water gets everywhere and for some reason the mop and bucket are locked away so you can’t use them. This dishcloth in the kitchen was very dirty and got a cup out to use this too was dirty and chipped. There is a lot of road noise in the living room, but we slept in room at from upstairs and it was ok there. Looked like the house had been “done up” very quickly and some areas are not well done, holes in bathroom door and no lock. Broken fireplace tiles in the bedroom.

Could have been warmer and parking was further than said as no spaces anywhere. Also mentioned bottle of wine but wasn’t any and check out time was earlier than the blurb said by an hour.

Not very clean, no fire wood provided although the owner did make me aware.

Felt grubby. The bathroom is particularly unpleasant, with broken fittings, minimal storage, dying houseplant and an odd design that means the whole room gets soaked when the shower is used. The house had a strong smell of gas downstairs, and a strong smell of damp upstairs. This contributed to the general feeling of a property that needs a really thorough clean and some time spending on maintenance and repairs. The property was about average price for Stratford but I felt disappointed that so little care has been taken to make our stay enjoyable. It felt like poor value for money. The owner was great at communicating and responded quickly to questions. A little more care would make this a good place to stay in Stratford but it's not somewhere I'll stay again .

Perfect location for walking into Stratford Upon Avon.
