Artist Residence Brighton

A unique, comfy, friendly stay, yet also affordable and in a perfect position in Brighton. All the staff were wonderful but Sam was a natural at hospitality - his energy was charming, just the right amount of enthusiasm and interest without being overwhelming. This was a solo stay but my husband and I already have plans to return.

Not much. I paid £500 per night for a tiny badly laid out apartment that is old and tired… even the internet is slow

There isn’t much to like for that price

All of the luxe and quirky decor, from the dinky bathroom tiles, to the unusual art work to the Robert’s Radios

We stayed for dinner on the first night - food was delicious but two of the mains weren’t available. Stairway could have been better lit

Lovely location and helpful staff

Our recent two-night stay was really enjoyable. The room was very comfortable, with everything we needed (the tv didn’t work but we weren’t really there to watch tv so it wasn’t a big issue). The staff were all absolutely lovely and super helpful - special mention to Dan, who looked after us and gave us great restaurant advice. Loved the art and the shabby chic decor. It did feel like we were staying in someone’s home, as per their marketing brochure! Some TLC for the potted plants and window boxes would be the icing on the cake ;-)

The style and location

Beautiful views from my 2nd floor room. Well designed rooms with all the home comforts. Fridge, fresh milk and a great selection of tea and coffee. Bramley toiletries, fluffy bath robes, slippers and a selection of chargers too. Friendly and welcoming staff. Enjoyed a drink in the residents lounge before I headed out for the evening.

Everyone was so nice at the Artists residence! Friendly and helpful! And the hotel itself is so gorgeous !! So well designed. And clean lovely rooms!

Excellent location on historic Brighton square down to seafront. Pleasant staff were probably its greatest asset Amusing and characterful eccentric rooms All in all very brighton!

What a gem! A fabulous boutique hideaway. Gorgeous environment, beautiful décor, and the staff were truly amazing, so attentive, they made us feel at home and ensured our stay was relaxing and completely perfect.
