Chapter Two Bar

The location was good. Unfortunately a food festival was in progress for that weekend so parking was difficult but the staff were very helpful and allowed us to park in an area reserved for staff.

The room was clean and nicely decorated

The manager was swearing at me because I used some power without asking her. I apologized because I was stressed out and forgot to ask. I didn't use much and I paid her for it. She had a rant at me because I told her that the tv in the room wasn't working. She shouldn't be speaking to her guests like that even if she's stressed out. I paid £200 for the room, which she wasn't prepared to reduce when I told her. The tv should have been checked prior to us coming and replaced. £200 is too much for this place and it's just for the room I went to order a drink from the bar. I wanted a cocktail she put the menu down and didn't tell me that she wasn't doing cocktails anymore. Yes the bar was busy but she and her staff ignored us and served people who were coming to order after us. After what seemed like half an hour, her staff only served me when I got upset about waiting for so long and being ignored. She was also rude to me. The stairs where difficult for me to keep climbing they don't have a lift or anyone to help with luggage The shower was very tiny and made it difficult to shower

Very clean and comfortable. Very good location.

Green safety light on all night. I understand that this is a legal requirement but does affect getting a good night sleep

Central location, free parking nearby. Friendly welcome. Clean, comfortable, decent sized towels. Accommodation is separate from the main building with its own entrance. Quiet.

It was chilly despite it being warm outside. Central heating didn't come on but there was a freestanding heater.

Staff were amazing dealt with any issues

The room was freezing but was sorted straight away Room abit small and nowhere to put your things Tv small and picture bad Only 1 bin in bathroom

Very friendly and helpful staff Lovely food too

Would have liked a dressing table and chair in room
