Chapter Two Bar

Fantastic staff, very attentive and friendly. Really good shower, good water pressure and temperature control; cosy room; loved the snug bar. Clean, warm, lovely feel to it. Ideal location and Malton is lovely.

Watch your head! There is a sign, and he should really have remembered, but husband bashed his head several times on low ceiling on the way up the stairs 😅 (fine coming down - there is a sign) Other than that (which really is on him!) , can't really fault.

Lovely room but heating needed attention.

Location and cleanliness

Room was so small my partner and I could not pass each other. The room was cold as the curtains overlapped the radiator so all the heat went out through the window which was not double glazed. It was on a timer so we did not have heating available all day and night.There was no wardrobe only an inadequate and badly positioned rail in the room. No hairdryer and we had to ask for a rubbish bin. The TV was minute,about 18” and had a faulty screen. We had a power failure with no one there to contact it about or to fix it.

Nowhere to hang clothes properly. Just one hook on the back of door.

Lovely room very well decorated, large room, bed was very comfortable and area was peaceful. Shower was a great size, Cleanliness was exceptional. Overall best place I've ever stayed

Rooms were great . Staff friendly .

Pub shut at 1900 . No food available. Had no idea that nothing was available on a Sunday night .
