The Rose

One of the best breakfasts I've ever had! Really friendly staff, couldn't feel more welcome :) The room was marvelous (great bed too!!). I always love a good boutique hotel and this one all expectations (and more). I would come back to Deal just to stay in The Rose once more or have a lovely diner/breakfast there.

Still one of our favourite hotels but on this occasion gorgeous Rose hotel did not deliver.

Not up to usual very high standards we were looking forward to.

the atmosphere and personal service was wonderful - as was the breakfast and cheeky complimentary brandy

water didn't get very hot - only one large towel per person - should have had feminine hygiene etc in the bathroom, pointless ugly fan in room

The location, restaurant, staff and interiors

No door on the bathroom, just a curtain and it made the room smell a bit damp (and would have been a little awkward depending how well you knew your travelling companion!)

Great location in the centre of Deal. Comfortable room with good sized bathroom.
