The decor and styling, location

They do need some secondary glazing in the front bedrooms as the church bells ringing on the hour all through the night made for a very restless nights sleep. Carpet in the bathroom

The tea pot on my table at breakfast was nice. The location in the middle of Deal was excellent.

The welcome was poor. We were ignored for some time before a staff member got off his computer to say hello! The staircase was grubby, dusty and uncared for. The room needed a thorough clean! We had the last guests graffiti scrawled on the inside of the dirty window pane. The bathroom flooring was stained, dusty and dirty. The bed head was stained. The furnishing was “cool” but flimsy, tatty and not up to the job! Not in the slightest bit luxurious! The staff were frightfully busy doing their own thing, very self important .. they really need to work on their customer inter action and housekeeping. Very disappointing! ps no cups to have the “complimentary” coffee and tea on the landings.

Such a beautiful cosy little hotel with stunning decor, amazing food and lovely staff. Lovely location on the charming Deal high street.

Lovely stay at the Rose. First time in Deal, we will be back. Great spot for a night or two. Dinner was great, as was breakfast. Lovely service throughout.
