Very comfy house with lots of room for our group. Great location, walking distance into the City Centre, and the University. Close to pubs, bars and restaurants for great food, would recommend The Mason Arms and Atithi Indian restaurant both on Fishergate and both 5 minute walk from house for both food and drinks. Also really appreciated the off street parking, where we could park 3 vehicles with ease, as since we were last in York a year ago a lot more streets are now permit parking.

Location and ability to sleep 10 people; family trip to York Races with grandparents, parents and grandchildren.

The house was in a quiet residential area, easy to walk into York in 5 mins and lots of places to eat nearby. Very comfortable sitting room, everything you would need in the kitchen/dining room, bedrooms, bathroom and 2 en suites. Everywhere was clean. There was a lovely covered sitting area outside. Wi-fi was good. Contact with the host was easy and any query was dealt with promptly. The key safe and check in details were sent a couple of days before. The information folder was useful and detailed. Parking for 3 cars off road in front of the house with cctv. It was a perfect location for our group of 5 senior ladies to enjoy a catch up and a wander around York. So good to have separate bedrooms and room to socialise.

Off street parking for 3 cars, easy walking distance to York city centre and all attractions. Facility catered for family group of 3 generations, with great facilities.

The modern spacious feel, this house has been renovated to a high standard. It’s also in a great location, it was a very quick and easy walk to town.

Just wanted to email to say thank you for your amazing customer service for the Hope Street House booking. The house was absolutely stunning and spotless. The little touches such as tea/coffee, games and smart speakers being provided were fantastic and all the guests were complimentary of Hope Street House. The house is in a great location close to the city centre but the area was so quiet you would never know how close you are! Thank you for making our weekend in a new location so comfortable.
