"Shame about the neighbours"

The location was walking distance to the centre. The property itself was beautiful and clean.

One of the neighbours at the back hangs a hifi speaker from his 1st floor flat and plays prayers at full volume from 6am and 10pm every day. We had a notice about not disturbing neighbours, but I've never known neighbours like this. The beds were also massively uncomfortable and dipped in the centre. The pillows were lumpy. Sleep was very minimal because of all 3 factors which made me feel slightly unwell.

Good location Provided enough facilities for our family group of 7 Very well appointed ,comfortable & clean Nice touches throughout

Outside space was a bit messy , needed to clean down the garden furniture before we could use it

"Splendid place to stay"

The house is in a great location, a short walk into the centre, good parking, which is a real bonus in York. It is a quiet neighbourhood yet central to York. The house was exceptionally clean and well equipped. The bedrooms were comfortable, light and bright. Very good showers and if wanted a decent bath. There is a full kitchen with everything you need plus plenty of crockery.Check was easy, and all communications from the host were clear and welcoming.

There was nothing to dislike. The outside appearance of the house belies the quality and comfort of the interior.
