Hope Street House

Fantastic central location, minutes walk to restaurants and bars and only about 10/15 mins to Minster Shambles etc. Plenty of parking off road for 3 cars (to be honest probably 4 small cars if you tried). Clean and well presented with all mod cons, tvs in every room, lovely sunny yard at the back with seating and also undercover seating. Well equipped kitchen with large table (we seated 8 comfortably for meals) Perfect for our family get together travelling from 3 different parts of UK to catch up for the weekend and explore the city.

Group of 5 girl friends spending a weekend in York The house was very clean, warm and inviting when we arrived , loved that the beds were all at least King Size, maybe bigger? bedding was lovely, kitchen well equipped , although we only had tea, coffee and prosecco as we are in town very very convenient for walking into the city centre within 10 minutes . We felt really safe at the location , one of our group headed off home alone earlier than the rest of us and she felt perfectly safe doing so We would 100% stay again

Our only issue was with the air fresheners, one of the group is very sensitive to chemicals in products like air fresheners and as the house was warm and the windows and doors had all been closed for a while they were overwhelming and caused a reaction That said we understand why you would have them and that reactions are not common, would maybe suggest fewer of them. Nothing negative to say about Hope Street stay
