Ropewalks Hotel

Location was perfect for quickly getting to all the places I wanted to visit. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast room and breakfast impeccable.

The staff were horrible

Hotel was in a great location, was very clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was great, the cooked vegan breakfast was tasty, and there were a range of dairy-free milk options.

The continental element of the breakfast could have been better for vegan options e.g. for those wanting cereal rather than a cooked meal (I didn't want a cooked breakfast on both mornings, as I was short on time). The room I was in was facing the street and so was very noisy (even with earplugs) until the early hours of the morning and so it wasn't great for sleep hygiene and working the next day.

What’s not to like a central location at a good price? Rooms and bathroom basic but nothing wrong with them. It’s a noisy area, particularly at the weekend if you’re a light sleeper and want an early night
