Sunny Island Homestay

What a beautiful homestay, couldn’t recommend it anymore! The family were so lovely and helpful, they booked all our tours and we just paid when we checked out. The breakfast was made fresh to order and they even got up earlier to make us breakfast before a day trip. The rooms are very big, comfortable beds and the bathroom is very modern and clean.

The location isn’t bad at all but it is a little walk into the town but I wouldn’t let it put you off booking here

It’s welcoming and exactly like advertised i.e. very cozy. The homestay is run by two super sweet sisters who were always available for help and arranged everything (literally everything inc. an amazing breakfast, scooters, tickets to the activities, cabs to/from the airport etc.) for the whole of our stay. It’s located on an Island called the Cam Nam island that’s separate from the ancient town which is why it’s quieter but also a little bit further away than other places. They always have bicycles that you can borrow so it wasn’t a problem at all!

didn’t think there was anything more that we could ask for given the overall value for money that’s on offer.

Very friendly hosts, extremely helpful regarding advice on activities and booking tickets for bus/train. (I can recommend The Hoi An Memories show even though it's touristy, you won't regret it) Free bicycles are a big plus. We had issues with the AC in our room and without any problem we could change to another room. Motor bikes are also for rent for a very friendly price.

Location isn't very close to the city center of Hoi An but again: free bikes, it's only 10 minutes away or 5 minutes by motor bike, I don't have actual negative points.

This place is a delight for travelers. The hosts are warm & extremely helpful. The rooms are clean, pretty & very affordable as compared to the other options in the city. Its nearly 2 kms from the city market but there are free cycles at the property so its very convenient. Van was very sweet & was always available if we needed anything. The morning breakfast is icing on top of the cake. They have pancakes & eggs but since my friend was a vegetarian they prepared pho for her. Would totally recommend this property. We extended our stay by 1 day more so we could just stay here.

Good spacious room. Very friendly and helpful owner. Free bikes to rent. Breakfast was simple but just what you needed.

Location is a little far to walk to the town. Pool and bathing area could do with more upkeep.

Amazing place to stay in Hoi An! We stayed four nights and it was perfect. The room was nice, spacious and had a balcony. The staff is the best, Van and Thu (sisters) made it together with their mother fantastic!

The pool is a bit small but not really a problem.

It was a very positive and relaxing stay for us at this beautiful homestay near old town. We loved the good beds, which is hard to find in Vietnam. Not to hard, not to soft. Swimming pool is nice. It's very clean and breakfast you have options to choose from. Free bikes available to get a quick ride to old town. Nearby also nice café Thanh which a great coconut coffee. But above all there is a good positive energy and the owner Thu and her mother and staff are so friendly and wanting to help when needed, nothing is too much. They also have transfer (cheaper than grab/taxi) and laundry service, amongst other services. We loved our stay here and will miss it all.

The hosts were amazing. Breakfast was 10/10 - nicest banana pancakes I’ve ever had. Free bikes were so handy. Anything you need to hosts will help you - train tickets, moped hire, tailor recommendations etc. The room was great - such good value for money. We loved the pool too.
