I had privacy and a lovely view of the garden.

It wasn’t very well heated

Great location, just inside the Brecon Beacons. We stayed in the family suite which was very big. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was continental and you could use the kitchen if you needed too. We didn't but that's because we were unsure.

Issues with the WiFi. There wasn't anyone present when we arrived, in the evening or in the morning. I have had to emailed the company regarding a matter

The rooms were clean and comfortable. There were plenty of towels and the tea & coffee facilities were good. There was also a small fridge in one of the rooms which was very useful.. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. There was plenty of parking both within the property and adjacent to it. We met the owner, who was extremely pleasant and very obliging.

The larger room was a little chilly. There was a room above us, which may not have been carpeted, and the occupants came back at a quarter to 3. While their lack of consideration could not have been anticipated by the owner, some efficient floor covering would have helped to cushion the noise.

Lovely big bed in our room. The cats were quite calm in theirs. The shower ran well too. Lovely and clean too and the cleaning staff member was friendly. Melon Tregib is near Llandeilo, which is pretty, and the A40 so it's well connected. Meeting young people at breakfast was pleasant too.

This was a last minute booking for us and we were lucky to get it. Not our usual kind of place however - we normally go for something more cottagey with a separate living room and somewhere we can sit with a book and read when we're not out in the car. It's probably more suited to active younger people or those just wanting a room for a short stay. I am diabetic (slightly) and ended up buying my own sugar-free breakfast food - but this might be my own fault as I keep forgetting to tell people.

Great location, lovely spacious family room. Good self service breakfast, great shared kitchen. Excellent value for money. We would stay again.

People staying above us sounded like elephants! Definitely no fault of the owners. But maybe a leaving a note to remind people on top floor to be considerate?
