Well presented with a good selection for breakfast

Curtains and blinds let a lot of light in in 2 different rooms, making it difficult to sleep past sunrise, which, at mid summer, was very early!

Plenty of chose. Continental breakfast. Dining area delightful with view over fields. Location of property walking distance of small shop. Public house and butchers.

Leaving

Self serving continental breakfast! Croissant being the only continental item. Plenty of bread and cereal but self catering would be a better description as we washed our own dishes and cleaned the kitchen after ourselves.

The property was lovely full of character and had a nice homely atmosphere. We really liked the fact that you could just help yourself to breakfast when you are ready. The host was very obliging, allowing us a late arrival. We would definitely stay here again.

Great communication from the owner with clear instructions for when you arrive. Rooms were well decorated ,spacious, clean and comfortable. Had everything In the room that you could need. Will definitely return if in the area.

Location superb. Parking was good. Easy no fuss access

Breakfast was basically and ran out on our second day as it was not topped up. But there is a very well equipped kitchen so you could bring produce in.

Absolutely nothing, the owner double booked my room and only told me at 6:30pm on the way to the property, she laughed down the phone advising me that she had double booked and I could stay in another room but that didn’t facilitate sleeping for my 3 year old, she give me the only option to go down to another room and carry a single mattress up for him to sleep on the floor.

Comfy, warm, nice room, well organised. Owner exceptionally helpful and friendly when I had a problem with a local taxi, gave me a lift to station!
