GBGBI did not end up staying the night due to a mix up of rooms with another guest I let him have the hotel as I already knew this hotel was not safe for a long female traveller
the lift was broken, my room had someone else's stuff in it, dirty stairs and severe updo needed, WiFi did not work and door handle coming off exposed light fixtures from a missing bedside table
GBGBCheck out time was unclear, stated in email 10am but on notice board in room stated 11am, a member of staff (male) came into our room when we were still in bed, possibly a cleaner but couldn't tell. On arrival the bathroom had not been cleaned after previous guests, this included: •whole toilet roll in the toilet • unusual stains everywhere • bin had not been emptied - found medication packaging and sanitary items in there • all bathroom products had run out and had not been topped up Additional Issues: •The people in the room next to us were causing a racket all night despite being told to shut up •Half the plug sockets didn't work DO NOT RECOMMEND! WILL NOT BE STAYING HERE AGAIN!
