Southsea Rocks Hotel

No covid 19 restrictions. Staff not helpful and rude. Dirty, tight, bed are unsafe, if you moved on the bed at night everyone is awake. I will never recommend to anybody. Will never stayed the again.

when we booked this hotel we needed to be near toilets , but we were not told it would be on the top floor and we had to climb four set of steps to reach the top floor,we should have been better informed.Free parking was advertised , but not enough spaces for every one to park and was told we had to pay £4 50 for a permit for a twenty four hour stay..so we were very disappointed.

We had room 8. It shared bathroom facilities with Room 9 but we had a shower room, seperate toilet and a combined shower and toilet room between the 2 rooms so we didn't have an issues. Reception were friendly and welcoming. The rooms we clean and there was free tea/coffee in the lounge downstairs. This was a perfect location for us. Would stay again.

Lights didnt work which they told me but what i couldnt understand is waiting for the bathrooms 30 mins before the 11am checkout time!!!

Basic facilities, friendly staff and well located. Rooms are cramp and stuffy, booked a triple room (1 bunk bed an a single). Common areas well maintained and clean. Our room wasn't unfortunately. The curtains had what it appeared to be blood stains, the radiator had coffee marks and the carpets were awfully dirty, covered in stains and marks, specially next to the single bed.

Went to the Victorious festival and this hotel was perfect just a five minute walk from festival. We stayed here last year and would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was warm welcoming, comfortable, perfect location (everything is in walking distance). The staff were lovely as they accidentally made a mistake with our room but they apologized once realised and fixed the problem within minutes. One gentleman (staff) kindly asked us how we were different times of the day, if we knew the area, how our day was and actually directed us to all the good restaurants and pubs that were only a 5 minute walk away. So we are definitely happy with the service and what we paid for. We will hopefully be going back again. *In the photo the bedding is wrinkled because we led on it before taking the photo*
