Southsea Rocks Hotel

A very small room - not enough space for both of us to stand up at the same time. The advertised free-parking only works if you get there early enough to grab one of the very limited spaces. Otherwise, you have to pay for an on-street parking permit. There is no fridge or kettle in the room; all rooms share a fridge and kettle in the kitchenette area on the ground floor, which isn't very helpful if you are on the 3rd floor. All in all, not very expensive, but you don't get much for your cash.

They had not been advised there now two men, given a room with just a double bed, the foot board was Broken,was not on-suite. Felt the money paid was not worth what was offered. Very limited parking on site, had to purchase permit for each night.

Amazing staff, very clean and family friendly. Definitely will be returning to the hotel when I am next in the area.

The hotel was in a great spot,very clean and model decor. Comfortable bunk beds, tea and coffee free in the kitchen area and the showers were spotless. The staff are so friendly and helpful 24 hours a day. I would just ask for a chair or 2 in the room as its only the beds in there. Its opposite the pebble beach, 15/20 minute walk to the arcades and fair. Swimming pool was a 5 minute walk, also the is the D-Day museum and the small Reef Aquarium.

I had a great stay it was a last minutes thing for me and my daughter, thought the price was very good as only 2 min walk from the beach and shop 5 minutes , the place has been done to a lovely standed very clean fresh, had the best night sleep I have had in years, beds were so comfy , only down fall was we was on the ground floor so had the garden bit and let a lot of light in due to the lights being on all night , maybe could do with a blind in there as well as the curtains, and the window open at the bottom not the top so if you had window open you had to close the curtains as people could see in as we found out, tea coffee all free but you have to go to the kitchen bit for, over all was a very lovely stay and would stay again :)

Awesome location and very modern building! Felt cozy and warm. Had no issues in the whole week we stayed here. Our bed was so comfortable we overslept a lot

Looked clean and fresh. There were 10 bottle caps under one of the blankets - so not cleaned very well/ fresh bedding not provided. No way to lock the door at night to keep little ones in. Being in the room below the kitchen meant a late night.

Hotel is very clean and staff are very helpful, but the bed was uncomfortable and lumpy. Parking is limited and if you don't get in one of the 5 spaces outside you have to pay for a voucher to park on the road, so its a bit misleading for the hotel to claim parking is free

Parking was very difficult, no easy access suitcases had to be carried up and down stairs, no en-suite bathroom, no tea/coffee fasciitis in the room only available in a common room. No food apart from a vending machine on site. Not really suitable for the family

Room is too small for 3 persons No lift and staircases are too narrow for suitcase
