Hills Motor Court & Marina

Spent the weekend in ABay with some friends. We stayed on the yacht and in a couple of the rooms. The rooms and the yacht were very clean and comfortable. The amenities on the the boat were great, they even had an ice maker and a small electric fireplace in the bedroom. The staff and owners at this property are wonderful. They were attentive and helpful at all times. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely book there again!

Old, dirty and poorly managed

This quaint motel was perfect for are stay at Alexandria Bay. We were upgraded to a room with a kitchen for no extra cost. The staff was friendly and it was located so we could walk to the restaurants.

We had such a nice time! We were literally right next to the water. The room was small but clean. The owners were so sweet & very helpful. Definitely would recommend for a short trip.

Let’s first start out by saying the staff was very friendly. I believe I met the owner and his daughter, both were polite, she was especially welcoming and kind. I booked one room and was called a half hour later saying the room ended up getting double booked. She asked if I would accept a substitution room, which I agreed. When I arrived my room wasn’t ready, it was still being cleaned. Ended up having to wait about twenty minutes. No big deal, It was nice out so I decided to explore and enjoy the bay view. Upon walking down the dock where their nightly rental boats are, I walked through a ton of spider webs. I also noticed how filthy the boat exteriors were! Canvasses were messed up, mildew/webs were growing. Overall they looked abandoned at the dock. I would highly suggest not booking one of their boats for the night based solely on the exterior cleanliness. The big covered patio that overlooks these boats/dock also was very dirty and seemingly abandoned. I know the peak season ended only a week or two ago but the grounds seemed like I was visiting in the late fall in terms of cleanliness. Though my room was fairly clean, it needs some serious work. The floor had a noticeable dip as the foundation has sunk. Floors & walls show sign of water damage. Bathroom also has signs of issues and overall in need of remodel. My bedding also smelled like it hasn’t been used in months Overall, the property needs a few weeks of elbow grease and it would be veamazing!

Our first trip to Alexandria Bay. Loved the little cabin with its own private deck. Great view being down right next to the docks and water. Very relaxing. The owner was very friendly and helpful, as was his daughter. Really enjoyed our stay here. We would recommend it.

Great stay at Hills Motor Court... we had one of the boats for lodging for an extended weekend and it was a great stay aboard her... would highly recommend.

Unfortunately the facility is run very chaotically. The owner wears many hats which in turn hurts the guests. Stayed on houseboat and it was horrible

Very welcoming and friendly. Great location Look forward to staying there again!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating upon check in. Room was clean but could use some updating on the decorating and cleaning up around the common area. Parking is very limited with only a few spots. Overall though a great little place with very reasonable prices. I will visit again.
