He over booked so first night we had to stay on a house boat. It was horrible. Dirty and spider webs. Bed was so hard. Just saw what he charged my account and he over charged. Found out he did this to alot of people there. He over booked. I will be calling tomorrow about the over charge.

Paper thin washcloths, greenery growing in the bathroom window, hot water issues, dirty coffee pot and sticky door. We will not be going back. Not worth the $155 a night. The place seemed to be run down not newly remodeled as stated on their website. The only good part about staying there was the 5 minute walk to downtown and all of the attractions. While we were there we checked out other places to stay at that were in better condition. I should have taken a picture of the bathroom window sill, shower and coffee pot. We do not recommend this place.

Everything was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Can't beat the views of the river and the town docks.

Was promised a 55 foot boat with all the amenity. All we had to bring was your ( tooth brush and tooth paste). Got there no boat. was put up to two very small rooms with only small refrigerator, small microwave an a coffee maker. Was told same price no extra charge. Are you kidding me. The boat was supposedly had full refrigerator , washer, dryer stove, microwave, Sleeps 6 or more people. Food had to be moved to friends house . Did not have enough clothes with us. What a mess. If this is not bad enough we payed in cash was told he needed more money. WHAT!!!!! I paid the original price minus 80.00 dollar for the the inconvenient he the owner had cause us. Got home and he had charge my visa with out any signature 109.90. UNBELIEVABLE. Watch for step when dealing with the owner of HILLS COURTS .Love the place love the view but will never go back again. So sad. Issac and I have finally came to understanding. Ending up with fair deal.

quaint rooms, immaculate!! The staff at this property could not have been nicer, or more accommodating. Excellent choice for a weekend stay at The Bay :)

Our room had no hot water, no heat (they used heaters) which didn't seem safe. There was no TV, we were told that the cable company turned off the service due to end of season. The staff told us to choose a movie and we wouldn't be charged but there was no phone connection because there wasn't any phone in the room. We couldn't shower because there was no hot water. Very disappointed.

The owner was very friendly and super accomdating. I called to tell them I had three large dogs in my reservation. I was prepared to be turned away, but instead they offered me a larger room so we would be more comfortable! We are from out of state, but moving to Alexandria Bay in Dec and this was a great introduction to the area.

Rented a house boat was contacted via email everyday times by the property never once mentioning any issues. Get there at 4pm and am told the house boat can't get through from Canada because of covid. They offer me a much smaller, dirty, spider infested boat that they admit hasn't been used or cleaned since last year. They have no place for me to stay. Argue with the guy about him covering the cost difference between the place I booked with him and the one he referred me to he calls me names and yelled me to get the hell out of his place, that my ppl like me aren't allowed at his property (forget that he didn't have anywhere for me to stay). Now it was my fault that I didn't have a place to stay according to him because I tried to squeeze him for money supposedly. As I'm trying to get through to Expedia my friend reads a review from a month ago with the exact same story. Get to the new hotel and am told he rented that same non existent house boat to another person earlier that same day, to three families the day before and that they get people every weekend all summer from there that he does this to. Will be reporting to the better business bureau

Room 15. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were very clean. Alex bay is one of the best places on earth. Decent view. Friendly staff

Did not end up staying there because they didn't honor the reservation. I found out from other local innkeepers that he overbooks all of the time. Where we ended up staying someone else had the same story that day! Also owner/manager whatever he was, had no mask and no social distancing.
