Owner was terrific. He couldn’t do enough to make our stay there so pleasant. Seeing an huge ship on the St Lawrence Seaway from our deck was outstanding. Will stay there again.

We attempted to stay for 3 nights on a houseboat and confirmed multiple times our booking. When we arrived it was not ready we gave them extra time and went to dinner. When we came back it was then revealed he didn't have a houseboat. We accepted a different room because we were tired. Room was hot and the bed was hard and scratchy. We asked for a refund and we left. We did not get a refund and still have not. We reached out to BBB where owner said it was our fault because we were both large people so we should have asked for a multiple room suite and we should have asked for a boat even though that is what we reserved but he didn't have any? Don't trust this guy.

The houseboat we rented was filthy, along with the rest of the property. Would never go there again!

We stayed at the Islandhouse for a family getaway for anniversaries not only was the house filthy there were bugs in the bed the screens were ripped there was no air-conditioning no Wi-Fi and no water. When we discussed this with the owner he basically said there was nothing he could do. And then when we went to check out the rate was double what we had been quoted. We have stayed in this hotel at different points during 20 years. We will not be back the manager has no idea what’s going on and does nothing to fix any problems.

Such a kind owner, family like atmosphere. Great scuba-diver getaway. Really low-key on the water place. Definitely walking distance to town, call them and confirm reservation! 9/10 overall, needed a vaccuming and dusting from not being used. Clean linen and towels, nice hot water, and a good bed. We rented boat and it smelled like urine and was filthy. Moved to another room as a result and no hot water.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hills Motor Court and Marina! The staff went out of their way to put our family in the most comfortable unit for our needs (infant and dog). The rooms were comfortable and we had a full kitchen, everything we needed. We were able to dock our boat here as well. We will definitely stay here again!

I saw all the good reviews on this place . Well honestly I would never stay again. Very out dated, still felt like the 90’s decor with a old smelly , small cabin. No where to relax with your own grill or sit. Unless you want to hang underneath the makeshift deck ; with the locals who just party all night . All the cabins are connected, not seperated with your own space. Behind the cabins; is literally garbage; Old sinks , chairs , tall grass & weeds. You would think ; summer is there prime time season for customers & promote their business! But overall; this place is a Definitely No. I would not recommend this place again .

Liked the centrality of the location. We were near to Clayton for the speed boat museum and beautiful parks. Alexandria Bay was lovely with lots of eateries.
