Hills Motor Court & Marina

I'm not a person who cares about frills. If a place is clean and comfortable, that's the most important thing to me. Our accommodations were just that. We had two queen beds and a full kitchen. It was clean, cool and quiet. Bathroom was tiny but shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. We thought it was kind of funny that the room slept 4 people but the kitchen had just 1 fork! We bought plasticware, so no big deal. If I were to suggest improvements, it would be to do some landscaping/clean up around the grounds. Storage area between buildings was trashy looking and grass and shrubs needed trimming badly. It would help curb appeal. Owner/staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a very pleasant stay.

Clean, comfortable, cozy

The Hills Motor Court was an amazing place to stay. The staff and management were very courteous, & our room with a kitchenette was perfect. Situated right on the water, the scenery was breath taking and relaxing. The daily sunsets over the water was an experience. What separated Hills Motor Court from other vacation rentals was the staff’s ability to take the customer’s needs into account and accommodate them at every turn. From extra towels, (as needed) to boat tours of the islands, Isaac & co really made the difference during the stay.

Great location and great views! Cute place with pavilion to watch the River and ships. Will go again next year!

We stayed the weekend they were having a boat show and that was awesome but, the owner of The Hills Motor Court & Marina Inn was fantastic he took us out in his own boat on tour all around the Islands free of charge. The room was very clean it was great having the small kitchenette. Being right on the water was gorgeous as well. The best part is that they were one of the few Hotels that allowed pets, as we took our min dachshund. The people were all very, very, friendly we enjoyed sitting under the awning and socializing. Also we were within close walking distance to town where a lot was going on and shopping. We would definitely stay there again.

Very friendly staff and beautiful scenery. If you'd like the novelty of staying on a boat it's worth a night. I'm curious what room the people were in who said it had been updated -- maybe in the 70s. Not sure why the plastic was on the mattress; I think it was damp.

Was absolutely wonderful, was exactly what we needed, we loved our room it was cozy and felt like home, everyone was warm and friendly, our TV broke and they immediately brought us a new one, we will definitely go back❤️
