Colson House

Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf. We hadden een kamer met balkon, wat echt een grote meerwaarde was. Daarnaast sliep het bed heerlijk dankzij het comfortabele matras. Het hotel ligt in een fijne wijk met voldoende voorzieningen, zoals winkels en restaurants, op loopafstand. Bovendien bevindt het zich op een uitstekende locatie, vlak bij de zee en de pier. Een ideale uitvalsbasis voor een ontspannen verblijf. Ook het parkeren was uitstekend geregeld. We wilden onze auto in de buurt van het hotel parkeren, wat geen enkel probleem bleek. Het hotel had zelfs vooraf een parkeerkaart voor ons klaargelegd, waarvoor we €11,- betaalden. Deze service maakte ons verblijf nog comfortabeler.

Location and value

It was quiet, there were amenities at the end of the street. Following their instructions for parking was easy and cheap by Brighton standards

The room we were in had the bathroom up a flight of stairs. Would have been happier if there was a handrail and that the bathroom light was turned on separately to the light over the stairs

It was a lovely size room, very clean, and very convenient bed. Great location.

We paid for a parking permit before arrival and was told would be available on arrival at 11:00am. However it was not available. Luckily someone was there to ask for one when we arrived. WiFi was non existent on the top floor.

Great location, good communication via Booking.com, clean and comfortable. Self check-in very convenient.

Felt strange never actually meeting any staff during my stay. Didn’t like their online check-in system that had credit card details and photos of ID as mandatory, even though I’d paid in full at time of booking. I messaged them, and they waived the requirement.
