Greenwood Bed and Breakfast

Lovely property, very conveniently located. Well appointed and comfortable. We'd definitely stay there again.

The B&B was comfortable and quiet in a great walkable location. Just minutes from the Beltline and Ponce City Market. David was accommodating and personable and made himself readily available to insure our comfort. We look forward to staying there again the next time we are in Atlanta.

As others have said, great location, nice property. But unlike what others have said, we did not find David to be friendly or welcoming. While polite and professional, I'm not sure we ever saw him smile. When we tried to engage him in conversation (questions about restaurants, museums etc.) his answers were brief and it was clear he was not interested in pursuing the topic . We asked him what we could expect as to traffic heading out of town the next morning and his answer was basically, "I don't know." Breakfasts were fine- nothing out of the ordinary (omelettes, bacon, and toast or English muffin both days). It's too bad because it really is a nice property- we just felt like we were intruding and he really didn't want us there. Maybe it was just us or he was having a bad couple of days. In any case, place is very comfortable and near a nice walking trail that goes all the way into a nice eating/shopping areas (Inman?).

This location is excellent with only a short walk to Ponce City Market with restaurants and shopping. The home is spotless and full of charm. The owner, David is extremely thoughtful and prepares an excellent breakfast each morning. It includes private entrance, living room and a bedroom with a very comfortable bed and a full kitchen. We enjoyed the beautiful sun porch and each evening walking through the neighborhood. Loved our stay and have already booked a return visit. Highly Recommend!!!!

Great location. Walking distance to Piedmont Park and Ponce City Market and only min by car to downtown. Our innkeeper provided a calm center to venture out from. Pleasent breakfast and good conversation. Comfortable and we'll appointed. We look forward to a return stay.

Stayed here three nights and so glad I did. Lovely, spacious, private and super clean bed and breakfast in a pretty neighborhood. The accommodations consist of a bedroom with attached bathroom, kitchen, living room and cute enclosed porch where breakfast is served. Very convenient location with easy access to major highways yet it's very quiet. Within walking distance of restaurants, Piedmont Park, Ponce City Market and the Carter Center. David is a wonderful host. He was friendly, helpful and accommodating and made wonderful breakfasts. You can't go wrong staying here.

This B&B was like a studio in mid-town Atlanta. The location is perfect for going to the restaurants on Highland Ave or Downtown on Andrew Young International Blvd. The Fox Theater is just a couple of miles away and even if you want to shop in the Krog Market Shops the location is perfect. Spacious rooms built in the 1930s and a nice host David who makes a very good breakfast.

Located in a trendy neighborhood off the end of the Freedom Parkway. Walking distance to the Virginia Heights restaurants and the renovated Sears mall, also Piedmont park. The B&B takes up most of a classic Atlanta house that is nicely painted and appointed. The congenial proprietor will serve a generous breakfast of omelets, toast, coffee, juice, bacon, and pancakes for two on the enclosed porch overlooking nice landscaping and the street, or, in the formal dining room next door for more guests. Excellent venue for couples. Can accommodate two more modest sized guests on a fold out couch. There is a computer and printer for surfing restaurants and printing boarding passes. The full kitchen is handy for lunches and dinners. Adequate parking on street or driveway. One bathroom. Good air conditioning. Umbrellas provided. Non-smoking. Quiet.

The Inn Keeper/Owner David is flexible, very responsive to his guests. The B&B is clean and comfortable so great to have a kitchen/small living room and closed-in porch area in addition to a comfortable bed/bath. The location is on the belt line - walkable to restaurants, grocery stores and Piedmont Park, a great way to support your healthy lifestyle while in Atlanta! Top ratings all around.

You better book way in advance, especially for weekends or holidays because you will miss out on a great experience. My kids live 5 homes away and Greenwood B and B is the perfect place to stay. David keeps his place immaculate and I can't even find a speck of dust!! I keep a very clean and organized home, but this place is unreal!! My one and only suggestion is you do have to call way in advance, but its worth it!
