Greenwood Bed and Breakfast

This is our favorite place to stay in Atlanta! My husband and I have stayed in numerous high end hotels in Atlanta but so glad we found this gem! Perfect location that is close to restaurants and shopping. David the Innkeeper is extremely accommodating and prepares a wonderful breakfast each morning.

Elegant, super clean, spacious living space. David is incredibly nice and cooks wonderfully. Is available for help but gives you plenty of privacy. Much better than a hotel stay, esp. in this part of town. Will definitely visit again and would highly recommend!

We normally drive straight through Atlanta without stopping, but this time we decided to stop. Because of the reviews on trip advisor we chose this place. I have never been let down down by reviews I find here and this was no exception. Wonderful place with a very comfortable bed and great food. We felt like we were guests in the house of an old friend, who provided a separate suite with our own entrance and kitchen and only popped when when needed. The owner helped us find an Indian restaurant that we wouldn't have chosen without his help. The neighborhood was very walkable with beauty and history all around. We hated to leave, but we had to get back on the road!

Both of our sons are now working in Atlanta. We stayed at the Greenwood B&B for several summer nights while moving one son in the neighborhood. The property exceeded our expectations. Spotlessly modernized authentic bungalow without the clutter one often endures in B&Bs. Private Queen bedroom with bath and a full kitchen, computer, wi-fi and a good TV set up in a pretty living room with modern lighting. Full healthy breakfasts are served at your own dining table near pretty windows in an alcove facing the street. David cooks with local fresh items and gives anyone lucky enough to stay here the benefit of an insider's life in one of Atlanta's most homey and authentic neighborhoods. All a great tonic to the sprawl that you will experience in hotels in the outlying suburbs or downtown. David allows his guests to park off the street in his driveway. Easy access to tons of great shops and dining options. Central location eliminates the need to be on the beltway as you are near arteries that can take you in any direction in Atlanta. This is a walking neighborhood with sidewalks and plenty of charm. All guests are future return guests!
