The furnishings were beautiful and the house was super spacious. Perfect for two couples/friends with 2 full bathrooms and spa baths 😍 Great central heating and easy to use fireplace. Good location within walking distance of town and the convent. Well stocked with kitchen appliances and crockery, glassware etc. Super clear and useful for from the hosts. Very clean

Could have been more basic condiments (oil, salt,pepper etc) for those nights when you want to cook at the property and maybe a small longlife milk in the fridge on arrival for a quick cuppa. Not a problem for us, but the walk into town/back is quite steep so might not be suitable for some.

The location and the main loungeroom were really nice

The bedrooms were very small, and the beds were a little "sunken". The garden was overgrown and the bathroom extensions were completely out of keeping with the rest of the house
