Safe area, comfortable apartment, nice parking, functioning elevator, quiet area.

The apartment could have been much cleaner: crumbs in kitchen, very dirty toilet, stained towels.

Clean, good quality equipment. Comfortable furniture and bed. Warm. Good location close to public transport. We were not in it much as we were visiting family.

Nothing. We’d happily stay again.

They were so kind and accommodating even though we arrived earlier than check in. The apartment was very clean and comfortable for our stay. They messaged us with places to eat or grocery shop nearby and made communication very easy if we had any questions. Would definitely stay here again!

The location was 3rd floor apartment in an apartment building on a busy road in a busy area, so I did not expect it to be quiet, but 3rd floor was quieter than ground floor. One bedroom facing street, the other facing communal car park at the rear. The location was very close to the local railway station, LIDL and some shops, all walkable. Large open plan room with basic kitchen facilities, dining area and sofas with a large TV. I used the washing machine once and appreciated the complimentary laundry tablet and drying rack. The iron and ironing board were useful as we had an event to attend and wanted to press items of clothing. The complimentary tea/coffee/uht milk were very welcome on arrival, until we made a visit to LIDL. The complimentary hand soap and washing up liquid were also welcome.

I was disappointed that there was a walkway just outside the rear bedroom. I did feel secure as the window did not open very wide and there was an overnight quiet time, but unfortunately on a Saturday night some people did not observe this as they walked past the bedroom windows in the early hours, which woke me up. I would have appreciated more cleaning utensils. There was a dustpan and brush and an old sponge mop. The floors can get quite dirty, especially in autumn/winter. Cooking utensils were good enough, but basic. I would've appreciated something to use in the microwave. Unfortunately there was a smell of stale cigarettes in the bathroom and ensuite, I suspected the smell was coming from the extractor fans as this smell was not present in other rooms. The vents were very dirty, I wiped away a lot of black dirt with a baby wipe, but they probably could do with a good clean. We tried to leave the doors wedged open when not in use to maintain good air flow. The ensuite shower was slow to drain, so could do with a good clean. A note that there was a missing lightbulb in one of the lamps, which will need replacing.

Spacious. Comfortable beds. Secure parking (extra cost)

Smell of drugs on entering - particularly strong in main bathroom. Informed management who told us flat underneath had been vacated due to illicit substances. No visit from management or housekeeping. Nothing done to remove smell or compensate. Asked for someone to actually visit - they denied being able to detect a smell and said they’d send someone else to check. No one else came. No further contact. My children and I felt sick and suffered headaches from the smell. Had to keep the bathroom door shut and use en-suite. Also there was a light on the shared balcony space outside our bedroom window which was on all night preventing the room becoming dark. I was told this could not be turned off. Whilst a handy location, the streets surrounding the apartments were filthy and littered. My daughters and I did not feel safe to walk around in the evenings.

The apartment was like home everything was provided and quality. When needed to contact staff they answered quickly and the request was dealt with quickly. They couldn't do enough to help. Will be booking again.
