Carmel Country Inn

Very friendly staff, breakfast included, and they also have snacks throughout the day, which was awesome. Also, water fountains 👍 It's a very quiet place but just 5 minutes away from the main street.

It's not as modern as we maybe more used to, but it's very clean and not worn or anything, and other perks completely cover for this

Liked the location and the fact that they allow dogs.

The breakfast was extremely disappointing for a room this costly. It wasn't really a breakfast. Just a bunch of rather unhealthy pastries and tasteless mini-quiche and yogurt. Nothing actually cooked fresh for you.

The location was excellent, nice and quiet and the breakfast, delicious. Caroline and Sharon were just fabulous, friendly and knowledgeable. Both went out of their way to assist us with any questions we had about Carmel. They were kind and attentive. We met Jackie on our last day at the Inn, and she was delightful as well.

What a sweet place to stay. I loved the quiet street and the lovely walk into town and to the beach. I had a fabulous room with a fireplace and a little sunny balcony I loved. Great bathroom as well. The staff were always very friendly and helpful.

Walls are a bit thin as in all buildings this age. I could hear the man next door snoring.
