Carmel Country Inn

We liked the breackfast very much, as it includes orange juice, quiche, almond pastry and yogurt. We also liked the decaf coffee from Peet's Coffee.

The parking is not spacioius. We were not able to find the way to watch TV (free channel). But these two things are only points we did not like.

Nice snacks and breakfast, clean rooms, kind staff. Beautiful flowers around the property. Many beach items available on loan. Nice fireplace.

Rooms and facilities on the older side. Bed was supposed to be a queen but was a full. Towels and sheets were not a very nice quality. Expected more for the cost of the room.

Walking distance to everything!! Super clean and cozy

The location was excellent. It was central in Carmel but set slightly back from the main Avenue and so it was more private and quiet on an evening. No traffic noise. We were made to feel very well from the minute that we arrived. The staff offered good advice on places of interest. The breakfast was a lovely addition and the afternoon cookies and drinks were a lovely touch. Housekeeping was very good-the rooms always had plenty of fresh towels/ linens.

Rooms was clean and nice. Loved the fireplace. Easy to walk to everything in Carmel. Staff was friendly.

Friendly staff. I felt so welcome. Such a peaceful location but walking distance to everything. I would not hesitate to return here

The mattress was not so great. I prefer a firmer mattress . I've stayed in other Carmel hotels with much more comfortable beds, but not as friendly as this place...
