Nice clean room,helpful staff and good beer.

Really fab pub. Great beer and staff & locals very friendly. Accommodation more than acceptable. Especially for the price. Everything you need. Just a little bit tired.

Its a village pub in the heart of Brum. Good beers and walkable from town and felt safe.

Cheap and cheerful, no complaints. Wasn't expensive for a night over and staff were very friendly in the pub. 👌

One night stay to visit family. Checked in at the bar and shown to our room. Decent standard with comfortable beds and clean bedding. Water system a bit noisy and crack in shower tray which meant water leaked onto bathroom floor. Tea and coffee facilities and TV in room with wifi. Lovely traditional pub that served food. Cheap car park- only £7 for 24 hours. 8Would stay again.

Stayed for one night. Very clean and generally comfortable. 15 minute walk from city centre. The shower temperature was a bit erratic and bathroom quite dimly lit but other than that accommodation was fine.

This is a lovely little place. A friendly pub with rooms upstairs. The pub part was busy and they did good bar meals. I felt fine as a solo female. The rooms were adequate, and clean. Be aware this pub/hotel is right next to a flyover and that flyover is very busy, all through the night. You might want to pack some ear plugs!

Opens at 11 which is a bonus as you can check in at 12.

My stay was for one night so I could attend a concert at the utilita arena. Having never stayed in a city centre pub before I wasn't sure what to expect. When I arrived the greeting was friendly and professional and the staff member happily showed me to my room. The room was a single with ensuite shower room. It was perfect for what I needed. The room was clean and tidy, perhaps a little "tired" but that didn't detract from the usability. The room, internal security door and external door all word on a secure card system which allows access when the pub is closed, one thing I was concerned about. Can't comment on parking as I parked in a separate car park in the city. It was a 20 minute walk to the arena, and even on the way back, the route I used was well lit and felt safe. (Worrying for a country boy!) All in all a perfect stay and will definitely be using again. Thank you

I had a lovely stay at the bull. It's great pub with a menu full of classic dishes. It is very old but it's adds charm. The rooms are basic but clean and everything you need including good WiFi.
