ROOST East Market

Very comfortable and well-equipped apartments in a shared building with residents. Great facilities (gym, pool, common social areas), friendly and efficient staff, well-maintained building and in a good location with plenty of local shops and restaurants. A bit of traffic noise during the day but very quiet at night. Other guests and residents are polite and friendly.

This was a great property in a really good location for exploring Philadelphia. The kitchen was a good size and well equipped with a full size oven/hob and dishwasher. The bed was comfy although the pillows were a bit soft for our liking! The property was spotlessly clean and the staff on the front desk were very helpful. The "facilities" floor with working space, library, large couch & TV, gym and pool was an added bonus. This would be a great place to stay for a business trip or leisure if you want a bit more space than just a hotel room.

It's hard to fault, the only thing I'd say is that the neighbourhood could be a bit "gritty" at night but that probably applies across the city (and any big city!). If i'm going to picky I'd say that the bedroom needs better lighting and the kitchen needs more crockery because you run out before the dishwasher is full!

Feels like it’s not very well maintained The floor wasn’t very clean. White socks didn’t stay white/ also they offer only one cleaning after 7 nights and we’ve never found anything to clean ourselves. Only 3 towels for a person for 6 nights, one set of shampoo, conditioner, gel and cream (60ml for two people), 4 tablets for dishwasher and 4 washing pads. Also the main reason of a 7-8 out of ten, than there was a fire alarm fix while we were there and as while I understand that it’s very important, but we were waken up at 9.20 in the morning by a very loud noise with lights going on and off. We were really scared first, then very annoyed as it lasted for about 20 minutes. It was just a drill. So I’m a bit disappointed
