Doonbank Cottage Bothy

The accommodation is fantastic, so cosy and totally in keeping with the location. We even got home made scones from the hosts who couldn’t have been better. The woodland and river walks are stunning and there is a nice enclosed garden for your dogs. Make sure you say hello to the Bees on site too

Location was quiet with wonderful views of the river and woods.

Great location for an event at brig o doon hotel. Peaceful surroundings.

You could tell dogs had been in the cottage as there was an unpleasant smell downstairs. We appreciated this property was listed as “dog friendly” as it has good walking nearby, however as non dog people we didn’t expect to still smell dogs in the living space.

Location was perfect. Chris agreed to an early check in for us which was very kind. The house is exactly as expected with beautiful surroundings. Bed super comfy.

Everything again. Lucky for us this was our second stay here for a bit longer and we’re so glad we got to go back! This is the most special place to stay. So much to explore in the area and so much space to yourself. Perfect for a stay with dogs. Our dog loves it here.

Everything is great, the owner is very nice and the surroundings are beautiful, an ideal place to relax.

Loved the host, the location, the welcome, the facilities! Being close to the river is a gem and being able to go for a walk or sit outside was just icing on the cake!!

Would have loved to have a few more kitchen towels and a blanket downstairs on the couch for a nice nap.
