Need to change their description, its not technically a B&B, as no breakfast included, and information needs to be clearer that the single room does not include a toilet.

Excellent location for family event. Marcia, the owner, was friendly and easily contactable.

All literature/adverts speak of this as a B&B (Bed and Breakfast) which it isn't. There is a need to be clear and straightforward about there being no breakfast. We believed that use could be made of the kitchen....the kitchen was extremely cluttered and untidy.

The hostess was very nice. At the end of the stay my husband talked to her about the serious problems we had with the shower, and she demonstrated how to use it, but it was very difficult.

The pavement appeal was poor. The accommodation is above what I think was an unused cafe. There’s a window full of unrelated dusty-looking dummies, which look very strange. They offer bed only - no breakfast. More importantly, the shower in our room was extremely difficult to use - my husband and I both had difficulty. At one point I was stuck in the shower with scalding hot water coming out. The knob to turn on the water was very difficult to turn. Water flow was erratic. The knob for the bifold door was useless and I could not get out. I had to get my hand over the top of the door to push it open. My husband had to do the same. I was scared that I was stuck in a shower that I couldn’t get out of, with very hot water coming out and with no-one else around the help me. At the end of the short stay my husband pointed out the problems to the host, who demonstrated how to get the water out at the correct temperature, but this was tricky and should be actively demonstrated to guests at the beginning of the stay. The door opening problem needs to be solved. The advertising needs to point out there a lot (?30) steps on a narrow stairway up to the rooms. Breakfast is not provided.
