Hotel Edit Yokohama

We made a spontaneous trip to Yokohama and decided to stay in a hotel that is small and with a good vibe. Edit is a stylish designer’s hotel that suit our purposes. We truly enjoyed staying there!!!

Hotel Edit is perfectly located. Almost everything of interest in Yokohama is in walking distance, and that’s so cool since walking is the way to get under the city’s skin. Rooms are tiny, but effectively build up, breakfast is up to standard and the service precise and smiley. And the price unbeatable if you are early with your reservation. Like it!

The room had everything we needed. It was all clean and in good condition, though compact. I did have difficulty falling asleep each night bc the curtains did not block out light and the window was facing a very well-lit street. English-speaking staff were all kind, polite and efficient.

Despite being in an off-centre location (more business district than consumer area), this hotel was actually really conveniently placed. A couple of minutes walk to the metro and about 10 minutes walk to the Red Brick Warehouse area which was great fun due to a saké festival. In terms of the room: it was a decent size with a good sized bathroom. Although small, there was a tiny sitting area which was useful for me as I had to work during the trip. For value and location, I genuinely can’t fault

we booked 3 nites at the Edit and were pleasantly surprised. The price was reasonable, staff exceptional, location near perfect, rooms small by standards but well set up and very efficient. We highly recommend this businessman's boutique style hotel. Amenities like designer soap, gym and pool not here, but who cares? breakfast is extra charge but well worth the roughly $10 pp.

Cozy, cute room. The layout could be improved. It was a bit annoying that you’d have to go to the front first for breakfast, instead of directly to the restaurant.

We choose this hotel for a 1 night stay pre-cruise. We booked a twin room to have some more space, but even that is small for our standards, very difficult to open our luggage, but the rrom amenities were very good. Basic breakfast. Short taxi ride to cruise terminal.

The room was small as compared when seen online, location was accessible, room ambience was good, clean and comfy. Staffs were friendly and the food was good.

Room is compact. Amenities is complete. Location is not bad, 7-8 mins from JR.

The room was extremely hot. No way to change the temperature. We used the room monitor to put it down to 17 degrees. No change. Had to keep the window open all night in December?! Checkin staff was not warm. She showed the price I had to pay to my husband upon checking. It was a surprise for his birthday....
