It's a lovely hotel, comfortable bed good size bedroom and bathroom loved the mini fridge and fresh milk for drinks, great to have toiletries supplied and a fan in the room.

"Quiet lovely place to stay"

How close it is to the train station, close to Asda supermarket, the room was perfect sized and adequate space for the 3 of us 😀

The double bed was very hard so I didnt sleep to well other than that it was fine, I also was unsure what to do with my keys as we checked out and had to knock doors to find someone, maybe post in the booklet what to do with keys when leaving

"A wonderful place to stay in torbay."

The property is locally situated with easy access to Torquay town centre. Newton house is a family run business with Brett and his daughters front of house. It is spotlessly clean, the room we stayed in was lovely and comfortable with a king size bed. Fresh milk and bottled water was supplied in the rooms fridge for the tea and coffee making facilities. Complimentary toiletries were also supplied in the ensuite. The breakfast options are plentiful and the full English is superb. The property does have some rules, which are clearly explained and in truth make for a quiet, comfortable stay for all the guests. Parking is free with a large car park at the front of the property. Big enough for several cars. Brett and his family are doing a fantastic job of running a great value business with a warm welcome and a big personality. I would not hesitate to recommend Newton house as a great place to stay in Torquay.
