Shears Inn

Room was immaculate and food was home made with large home made chips which made my day ( very few restaurants have now ) Staff lovely.. Tbh when I arrived wasn’t sure but was very surprised and really enjoyed my stay and the locals were welcoming too so I really can’t complain

Didn’t have sky sports or tnt sports for football but I’m really being picky here and realy can’t complain

Food was good value and plentiful.

The bedroom smelled stale.

Great price. The staff were really friendly and the pub was lovely, great selection of food and drink and really reasonably priced especially for the portion sizes! Great location, £4 in a taxi to the Piece hall and shops. Room facilities were basic but perfect for our stay, we didn't need anything extra. Overall just a fab little place.

Friendly staff and the room was very clean and had everything I needed.

The pub staff were so friendly. Despite the pub closing at 10pm they waited up for us until 11pm as our train got in late. It was nice to have a kettle and tea making facilities in the bedroom. The bed was comfortable and TV had good streaming platforms. We were provided with towels and there was body soap and hand soap.

The room was quite cold but eventually the radiator warmed it up. The bathroom is pretty small and it's not too easy to access the shower.
