Shears Inn

The location was easy to walk into the town centre from. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and put on an excellent quiz night on the Friday, which was well attended. Some food was good.

The location was in a area which had been industrial, but is now a little run down. But only a few minues walk to the main road. The food was variable from very good to poor. The room was in need of some work.

Peaceful location. A short walk into the centre and also to the Hebble Trail Very pleasant staff Enjoyable food and good atmosphere in the pub

The outdoor security lights were very bright. A thicker curtain or blackout blind in the bedroom would have been useful.

Staff very friendly. Food quality is " pubby" as expected but portions massive and cooked well.

Remember that the room rate is at least a third cheaper than other budget stays and room decor was a bit lacking and on the small side. BUT very clean. Check that their WiFi is working.
