La Casa de Carmen

Carmen was super attentive and waited for me to arrive at almost 130am, the bed was very comfy and warm, I slept so good that overslept and woke up minutes before the check-out. She was very understanding and still made breakfast for me, which btw was very delicious. I had read in other reviews people complaining about the cold and the water, but as any other building in Cusco, the windows are thin and water pressure is low, that’s the reality of the city and Carmen does provide several warm blankets and explains when/how to take hot showers.

There was some faul smell coming from the bathroom, my guess is the smell of the toilet paper bin that has some papers from a previous traveler. I closed the door and end of the smell.

Carmen and Victor are so lovely

The room was so cold. The bed was warm and comfortable but the tiled floor and atmosphere was bitterly cold. The shower was also lukewarm.

It was safe place. Super kind owners of ''La casa de Carmen''. I liked that is very close to the city centre of Cusco. And the tours around Cusco they offer was much better by price than others, pickup straight from place or close by.

Everything was as I wanted.
