Sol Miranda Hotel

The hotel is ok, perfect location! The best of this hotel is the excellent service provided by the owner and family. They are amazingly nice and friendly.

We stayed in a quad room which is a nice option for 4 adults. We took advantage of the car service from CUZ to the hotel, with some sight seeing - a very pleasant first look at the Sacred Valley with a delightful driver, Edison. Hotel owner was very accommodating and helpful.

We got a room that faced the ruins. It made our surreal and not to mention the ease to get to the town main plaza and everything so close by. Will love to stay there. The staff was super attentitve.

The view of ollantaytamboo was great. But the best part was meeting and interacting with the owners daughter Smila. She made my stay memorable. Great interactions over several days, she is a very special young lady.

I am well aware of the location of the hotel but with that said there was no hot water, no available tv channels and the internet was extremely limited. I don’t know if the other properties around Ollantaytambo are the same but that was our experience. On the other hand the staff was very friendly.

I had a decent stay here. There were some issues I think folks need to be aware of before choosing this place. 1st was the internet is unreliable. It was not working for two and a half days I there. Also the water is off from 3pm-6pm and then 9pm-6am. The breakfast is not good. The bathroom I had didn’t make sense. The towel hanger was inside the shower and no counter space to put your toiletries. The toilet paper holder was broken. There isn’t an ATM on the premises. The family that runs this place are kind but hardly around for assistance for the guest. The location is fantastic though.

This property is in a very small, rustic town. The staff helped us with excellent arrangements for transportation. Our room had a fantastic view of the Ollantaytambo Inca ruins. The room was

Such friendly staff! So accommodating and friendly. Helped me get a taxi to return to Cusco. The view of the Inca site is phenomenal. Enjoyed hot tea from my room reading a book and looking at the vista. Quiet and convenient location.

Lovely hotel in central location with an amazing view of the Ollantaytambo ruins. Very helpful staff. Perfect place to stay before or after visiting Machu Picchu.

Very good for what it cost. I would say that it's more of a 2-star property. The water stops running at around 10:30 pm until 5:30 am. This was not shared with us when we checked-in around 9:30 pm. So beware. The room that we had was very large, but the sheets were not the cleanest.
