Sol Miranda Hotel

Great staff. Great location. Comfortable rooms. Only two drawbacks were the internet service was nearly obsolete in the rooms and also no running water in town during the night hours. Woke up at 4 AM for our early train ride and got surprised with no water. Would’ve been great to know in advance so that we showered the night before.

Very simple hotel, that does not value what it costs. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is good. I booked two rooms for me and my family and both bathrooms had water leaks.

Mila woke up at 4am just to bring us our breakfast to go because we had to catch the train to Machu Picchu. Alicia was super helpful. The room was spotless and they gave a great restaurant recommendation. Would definitely stay here again.

She was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. She let us check in early and helped us get a taxi at 3:00am the next day to the airport.

Clean and quiet, in the centre of town, 15 minutes walking to the train station. The staff was kind and welcoming, the view from our room was amazing. Very nice property.

We love the staff. They are always willing to help and make the best of the trip. Simple breakfast but enough nutrition to prepare us for our activities

The location is fantastic and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. They arranged the taxi for my friend and I from the Cusco airport and then back to Cusco, both trips at a better rate (80 soles) than I was able to find.

The hotel itself was perfectly fine. The staff is stupendous. It is managed by a family who are extremely friendly, warm and helpful (especially the teenage girl, she's lovely). However, not sure if it was the room we were given but my boyfriend and I got very little sleep the 2 nights we were there. The walls are extremely thin. The first night there was a group of guys staying in the room above us who were up talking really loudly and we heard every footstep that they took. Sounded like a heard of elephants. They were up till 3am. Second night we thought would be better but their alarm went off at 4am (which I heard very clearly and thought it was coming from my room) and the talking and stomping started. It's very unfortunate because other than this, the hotel is lovely. If you decide to stay here ask for a room on the top floor away from the others, if possible.

Excellent location. In US standard. 3Star hotel, very good for the price. Breakfast very basic, but is free. Good hotel in the area.

Location was great and walk-able to everything. Views from the room were wonderful, shower was hot and the WiFi worked. Walls are a little thin so earplugs were nice to have.
