Madrid City- Apartamento de 2 dormitorios

Woke up, made breakfast, and had coffee on a balcony in Madrid- say less!!! Wow! But when I got there I hadn’t seen the email that was required to get the door codes. If I had not bought a SIM card in the airport, I wouldn’t have been able to get into the apartment for a while- while I looked for wifi. Otherwise everything was fantastic! We felt very sophisticated in the space. Also there was an issue with the sink and they sent someone right away- like within an hour. That was great!!! I think a Smart TV would be nice though. I brought my elderly mom who didn’t do the exploring we did and I wish she could’ve watched something- she did crossword puzzles and listened to the music channel.

The pillows in one room were really hard and we couldn’t use them. There was only two rolls of toilet paper and two trash bags for 6 days and four people. Luckily Lidl was right up the street. (I rented an apartment so we could cook and be in the space, maybe most people don’t actually hang out in the apartment…?) Also tell people in English what to do with trash. We had so much becuase we didn’t know…

We chose this property because of the location, we wanted to be near our son’s apartment. It is in a nice quiet and safe neighborhood and we really liked the balcony. The kitchen and living area was nice and we were happy to have a washing machine. Checking in was easy.

The apartment is a little tired with scuff marks on the wall. The bedrooms are quiet but too small. One of the bedrooms was so small that you could not open the closet doors because the bed was in the way. It rendered the closet useless but there is also closet space in the bathroom. Also, the beds are basically cots and the pillows were hard as a rock.

The system to get into the building was difficult and tricky. You had to push multiple buttons on the building and then ROTATE YOUR PHONE FROM PORTRAIT TO LANDSCAPE. That final step was very hit and miss. Was stuck out in the rain at night, trying multiple times to get inside. Made me worry about going out at night and getting locked out.

The place was great ,the living room ,kitchen,and balcony .

The beds in both rooms could be improved ,not comfortable at all. Also for 10 days ,could have more towels and bedsheets to change .

I started getting spam after I gave my email to the property. They asked my personal email to send me the keys. My advice is to make a new email adres for this kind of requests.

The apartment is beautiful and couldn’t be in a better location. It’s very safe, with comfy beds and spotless cleanliness.

We had no issues accessing the building, but it might be challenging if you don't have internet since you need to retrieve a code from an app. The apartment has everything you need for cooking, but it would be nice to have some basic essentials like salt, pepper, oil, sugar, etc.

It's a great location if you want a quieter neighborhood but still convenient to get around.

The entrance and exit of this property is too secure. :)

Nice and clean apartment. Safe area. Close to metro line 3

There was even no tea/coffee which should have been normally available. Insufficient toilet paper.
