The Old Vicarage Lodge

We went to the Duran Duran concert at the Co-Op arena halloween night and found the Lodge online , we couldnt have found a better property , 20 minute taxi ride to the venue. Lovely and quiet location; warm inviting spotless every facility you could ever want , and snacks and drinks supplied really appreciated a real gem big thankyou to Winston and family , will definitely stop again if in the area, my daughters and ex partner who were with me express the same views.

Very secluded and private gives you a sense of safety and feeling secure , hosts were very kind and welcoming. An amazing range of breakfast and snacks provided.

There isnt much to fault, bedroom mattress could be more comfortable as was a little hard to sleep on initially , but was okay after settling down.

gorgeous little Lodge in beautiful surroundings. right at the edge of Heaton park. Modern deco with everything you need. Owners were wonderful. very clean and well maintained. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Il posto è piacevolossimo: si tratta di una piccola dependance di una più grande proprietà, molto bella, ordinata, pulita. Una vera e propria bomboniera: pare una casetta delle favole. I prodotti disponibili in bagno e per la colazione sono rocchi ed abbondanti: troverete persino il deodorante, le creme per il viso, la schiuma da barba, non solo shampoo e saponi.

La situazione è imbarazzante, perché da parte del proprietario c'è stata la massima disponibilità e collaborazione, ma.. 1. Ha sbagliato a darci gli estremi del Wi-fi. Sia nome della rete che password erano sbagliati e glieli abbiano dovuti chiedere tre volte, prima che rispondesse; 2. Non c'era acqua calda!!! Ha sostenuto di aver chiamato l'idraulico, ma, in definitiva, ci siamo dovuti fare docce fredde, nell'Europa del Nord e in mancanza di bidet.. io giudico questo fatto molto grave. Abbiano avuto il dubbio se richiedere un rimborso ed andare via;; 3. Il secondo letto è un divano SFONDATO! Letto per due.. tutti e due finiti in una conca impraticabile. Insomma.. apprezziamo buona volontà e impegno, ma.. tutto da rifare! Ah.. il posto è proprio accanto e di fronte al cimitero. A me non dà fastidio, ma meglio saperlo.
