Our room was renovated nicely with a BIG smart tv in the living room, and the location is great for the outdoors type family or anyone with plans to go to Silver Dollar City

When you first pull up it has an old motel vibe but the remodeled insides and awesome staff make up for it

The owners were wonderful! They make you feel at home and are very accommodating. They made our stay a good one! My kids loved the movies in the office and the pool. The kids enjoyed being close to the lake and Silver Dollar City. We felt blessed to find a place with such accommodating owners.

This is just personal preferences and good to know things: The water on Indian point is chlorinated. It was pretty rough on the skin. The beds were a little rough but the size of the beds made up for it. It would be the perfect room for a guy’s weekend on the lake but a little constrictive for a trip into town due to Silver Dollar City traffic in the morning (breakfast isn’t available at the site).

These are some of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in!!! I have a habit of always checking rooms before unloading the kids and let me tell you not only did it smell fresh but this room was spotless! Clean beds. They had bed bug protectors on pillows and mattresses!! And yes I look all around. I even checked in cabinets and behind the toilet, in sink, toilet,tub etc…. They provided us with extra blankets and towels at request which was nice considering we are a family of 6. The owners live on site and they come with a super sweet golden retriever! They have an outdoor patio and stayed up with us for hours just chatting away! The pool was clean and deep! Even had some pool toys to play with! They had huge tvs and cable And even had a large selection of dvds in the office. There is a small play set and a convenience store right across the road. It’s quiet and peaceful in this area at night. I was actually pretty sad the owners weren’t in the building when we checked out bc I was looking forward to thanking them and saying our goodbyes!!! They provide Grills and cute outdoor furniture indoors and out!!! This is a very cute place and the owners are amazing!!! We will definitely recommend to others!!!!! If your planning on staying here bc you want to have quick access to the lake you can forget about it! Their is no land around this area that isn’t private property. We couldn’t find any trails and they won’t even let u access the beach without paying first!…The only complaint I have about this particular room #3 is the bathrooms are very small. And practically have to step into the bath tub to shut door behind you or even get dressed. Would not be idea for a larger person. And our room had connecting rooms to #4 and I’ll just say if you like peace and quiet than I wouldn’t choose this room. If u like to sleep in or don’t want to hear ur neighbors babies crying at 7am I would maybe suggest a different type of room. Our kids sleep in and we were not able to sleep in bc the bed was right next to the conjoined door and we could hear their baby crying which in turn woke all of us up! All 3 nights which was very disappointing. Their was a family who rented the room upstairs for themselves and left the child in the room downstairs! Very annoying and frustrating in my opinion! I would also like to add that the water here is boiling hot! Like it burns the skin off your fingers. We had to turn off the hot water underneath the sink to avoid our two year old from burning herself! Maybe they can just turn down the water heater temperature. The playground was a little rough. Parts of the slide and wood had loose bolts and plastic sticking up which made it kind of sketch for my 2 year old. Also they should add some gravel or sand under swing-set bc it was just full of mud.. oh and they do not provide pool towels but they had some for sale in the office for 6 dollars but they were full size towels so it was a fair price.

This is an older hotel not a brand new resort. It is at the bottom of a winding road, not the top. It does not have fancy views. It does not come with breakfast. It is just a 5 minute walk to a quiet fishing spot and comes with a well-equipped kitchenette. The price was also great, especially when compared to other hotels closer to Branson. The pool was old but the water was cool in the middle of 100 degree days in July. I think this is because it was deeper (8 or 9 feet) compared to the 3-5 foot pools at other hotels in the area. I would stay here again.
