Katarino SPA Hotel

The food had a lot of variety which we enjoyed and it was very tasty. The had "real" fresh squeezed orange juice in the morning and a lot more food options than we were used to with many natural alternatives. The shuttle buses to the sky resort were quick and came by often (every hour).

The smell in the smaller steam room was not pleasant, as well as the outside pool entrance that connected to the interior pool. I think maybe some ventilation system should alleviate the foul smelling condensation at the pool entrance. Other than that everything was perfect, thank you for a great stay.

I had an amazing stay! The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and had a breathtaking view of the mountains. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, perfect for a great night’s sleep. The spa area was absolutely fantastic—everything you’d expect from a luxury hotel. But the highlight for me was the heated outdoor pool. Relaxing in warm water while admiring the snowy peaks around me was simply magical. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Bansko. Can’t wait to come back!

The only downside was that the room was too warm, and I couldn’t adjust the temperature, which made sleeping a bit uncomfortable at times.

The hotel was amazing they let us have breakfast even when we were earlier from our check in and they found us room so we didn’t have to wait till noon. The spa was very clean also. The hotel provides bus transfer to the ski area which was so convenient for us not to take the car.

Confortable, good SPA facilities, good food

Kids run wild. The personal should tell parents to control their kids. In covered parking some waterly infiltrations stain my car.

I would highly recommend this hotel! The outstanding feature that makes it truly special, aside from the beautiful and magnetic view of the mountains, is the hotel staff—especially the breakfast team. During my stay, I had to leave for skiing at 7:30 AM and was always in a hurry for a quick coffee before heading out, as breakfast wasn’t open yet. However, one of the waitresses—whose name I wish I had caught—made me feel so welcome and encouraged me to grab a quick breakfast. She truly made the start of my day wonderful! Without a doubt, they have the best staff I’ve ever encountered in hotels across Bulgaria. The food was really good too!
